Multiclip - Multiple Clipboards
Description
It a kernel module designed and developed during the Pardus Software Camp 2014. It provides multiclipboard capability using x11 on Debian based operating systems.
How to install
Let’s proceed step by step:
- clone the repository using
git@github.com:esrefozturk/multiclip.git - change directory using
cd multiclip - install the multiclip package using
sudo dpkg -i multiclip_1.0_all.deb
How to use
You can
- display any clipboard or all clipboards using
multiclip - manage the apllication using
service multiclipd {start|stop|restart|reload|force-reload} - copy the selected text on the screen to clipboard of pressed key using
[CTRL] + [ letter or number ] + [C]combinations - paste the text on the clipboard of pressed key to screen using
[CTRL] + [ letter or number ] + [V]combinations
